GOLD MEDAL - Monde Selection 2000
The Ben Nevis distillery is one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland ? 1825. It is situated by the foot of the highest mountain in Great Britain, the Ben Nevis, with an elevation of 4,406 metres above sea level. This impressive mountain offers an amazing background for the most traditional and better known product in Scotland- the whisky. Near the distillery we can see two lochs that complete this magic place- Fort William- where science and nature merge.
