About:
A wine produced from a traditional Douro white grape variety, namely Malvasia Fina, grown on higher-altitude vines, with a consistent quality year-on-year. An elegant wine with some ageing potential, the perfect foil to sophisticated dishes.
Harvest
The 2009 vintage took place under conditions of moderate heat, with some humidity, allowing for a slow maturation, well-balanced in terms of acidity and sugars. The harvest, held only after careful analysis of grapes, took place in mid-September, with the grapes arriving at the winery in 25Kg boxes and in excellent condition.

Vinification:
Following careful crushing and pressing, the must underwent static decantation for 24 hours. Fermentation took place in a stainless steel vat, at approximately 18 °C. The wine was bottled in May 2010 and released following an additional month of in-bottle maturation.

Tasting Notes:
Pleasant notes of citrus fruits and minerals. An impressive flavour, fresh, light and with an excellent acidity.

Suggestions:
