Ageing:
Following vinification, the wine is aged for 6 months, in french oak casks (225 L, used 80% and new 20%), resulting in a elegant, full bodied, and aromatically complex wine
Vinification:
Produced from a blend of indigenous grape varieties of the Dão. Selected for their high quality from prime vineyard sites. The grapes, harvested at an optimum stage of ripeness, are fermented with prolonged maceration to improve aromatic complexity.
Tasting Notes:
Exuberant and complex nose, floral, wild fruit, intense cassis, blueberries, integrated wood. Mouth with excellent volume, well structured, good fruit, silky tannins, rich end, long and persistent.
