Ageing:

The musts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Touriga Nacional fermented in stainless steel tanks and were then aging in French oak barrels for about 4 months.

Vinification:

The grapes from vineyards selected by WV - Quinta da Romeira in Viticultural Region Lisbon, were stripped , suffered slight crushing to ferment in stainless steel vats and a small part in French oak barrels .

Tasting Notes:

The Wine PRINCIPUM Merlot / Touriga Nacional , presents purple red color, having subtle aromas , wrapped in light notes of wood and toast . The wine in taste is balanced and elegant showing slight persistence of fine tannins. The Wine Principium Merlot / Touriga Nacional , portrays some aromas and flavors of Viticultural Lisbon region . It is a wine for many occasions of the day.
