About:
This Late Bottled Vintage 2003 has a unique personality. It was made from the Quinta's best grapes, slowly foot threaded in lagar, as traditional in the Douro Valley.
The wine was aged in tank for the first 20 months, and then in old wood casks until bottling at the 4th year. It is intense in colour, with a bouquet of ripe grapes and forest berries.

Ripe grapes

Full bodied and elegant

Suggestions:
It is an intense, ripe and full-bodied wine, and a positive ageing in the bottle is predictable for several years after bottling, with the wine Goes along well with goat and sheep blue cheeses, red meats.
