About:
The Ben Nevis distillery is one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland ? 1825. It is situated by the foot of the highest mountain in Great Britain, the Ben Nevis, with an elevation of 4,406 metres above sea level. This impressive mountain offers an amazing background for the most traditional and better known product in Scotland- the whisky. Near the distillery we can see two lochs that complete this magic place- Fort William- where science and nature merge.
Suggestions:
The presence of malt in this blend is so intense that many people think of it as a malt whisky. The Danish representative of Ben Nevis? conducted blind tastings as part of his whisky Tasting evenings comparing this whisky with products of other makes and the surprising result was that the tide of opinion favored the Ben Nevis whisky each time this challenge was tried.
