Vinification:
The Vineyards of Wine Morgado of Santa Catherina, belonging to the Fifth of the Pomegranate, integrate the Historical Vineyards of Arinto grape, the Denomination of Controlled Origin Bucelas. The vineyards dominate the hillside in soils derived from hard limestone, and benefiting from a unique microclimate of the valley, situated between the river and the sea. In winter the weather is cold and mild summer.They produce grapes with traditional register in rarity and in excellence.
Tasting Notes:
Morgado de Santa Catherina is produced from the Arinto grape, cultivated at Quinta da Romeira. This wine displays the finest characteristics of the grape, exhibiting a rich aroma of minerals, citrus and white fruits with smooth notes of vanilla from the oak used during the ageing process. The notes are well fused with the other aromas, creating a unique explosion of flavours. An intense wine, containing an excellent acidity level with the complexity and richness of the grapes.

Suggestions:
The Morgado of Sta. Catherina by its great structure, volume, lively acidity and striking it is advisable dishes with some intensity, as baked fish of drawn up was really attentions and nice, but also with some fat and roast kid can be an example.
