Ruby is the result of mixing our younger wines, yet they pass through aging process of about three years in oak vats, during this phase are chosen lots of deeper color and more fruity in aroma to the final blend
Vinification:
This Ruby is made from a blend of traditional Douro grape varieties harvested by hand at the end of September. The alcoholic fermentation is made on a vat with intense skin maceration . Depending on grapes ,fermentation takes about 3-4 days and then stopped by addition of brandy.
Aroma:
Intense aromas of ripe fruit well harmonized with the aging in wood
Tasting Notes:
In the mouth is full bodied, elegant and very persistent end
