About:
“Casa de Oleiros” is one of the oldest and most prestigious farms in the designated area “Entre Douro e Minho”, more exactly in the production center, by excelence, of Vinho Verde.
Its existence is lost in the history of the years, since it has been in the family for over 5 generations; yet, it used to be previously known in old manuscripts on existing Convents - Paredes Meia com a Quinta - the convent of S.Salvador de Travanca, that, in old times, was built by Beneditin monks.
The grapes, and the production of its wine, was already known and appreciated by neighbour populations.
That same production was handmade in the begining, respecting all traditions passed by generation to generation.
