What you should know about Algarve:
Algarve is located in the border with Alentejo. It is protected by mountains all the way between the Spanish border and the Atlantic coast from the extremes of temperature of Alentejo.  
The climate is influenced by the sea, the Mediterranean to the south and the Atlantic Ocean to the west.

Most Vinho Regional from Algarve is made from national and international grapes: Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Aragonez, Cabernet Sauvignon, Trincadeira, Alvarinho, Chardonnay, Viognier, among others.
